The Experience
What to expect at your fitness assessment in Toronto
Every assessment begins the same way: a 10-minute coach consultation to understand your history and define your primary goal. This isn't a sales conversation. It's the context that makes the data collected afterward actually useful.
Data collection varies by assessment type. The Transformation Blueprint runs an InBody 770 body composition scan followed by the biosignature 14-site measurement. The VO2 Max Diagnostic uses the VO2 Master Analyzer on the air bike with a structured ramp protocol. The Performance Blueprint adds max strength testing and structural balance evaluation. The Vitality Blueprint layers HRV and joint range-of-motion screening on top of the body composition baseline.
Results are delivered the same day. You leave with the raw numbers and a written blueprint: a clear explanation of what the data shows, what it means for your goal, and what a realistic 12-week protocol looks like. No waiting for a follow-up email. No guessing what the numbers mean.
If you proceed with a training program, every subsequent bi-weekly InBody 770 scan is compared against this baseline. The assessment data becomes the control variable. Every training decision, every nutrition adjustment, every program change is measured against where you started.
Step 1
Coach consultation — fitness goals and training history
Training history, injury background, primary goal, timeline. Sets the context for data interpretation. Without this, the numbers are interesting but not actionable.
Step 2
Body composition and performance diagnostics
InBody 770 scan, biosignature measurements, and assessment-specific testing. Each assessment type has a defined protocol. Nothing is improvised on the day.
Step 3
Same-day results and custom program blueprint
Same-day review of every metric. Written protocol handed over before you leave. You walk out with a baseline and a direction — not just a list of numbers.

Common Questions
Fitness Assessment Toronto
Do I need to book a fitness assessment before starting personal training?
No. But every Arzadon training program begins with one. The assessment baseline is what makes the bi-weekly InBody tracking meaningful and what lets us adjust the program before it stops working. You can book the assessment separately first, or discuss it at the free consultation.
How long does a fitness assessment take?
The Transformation Blueprint and VO2 Max Test run approximately 60–90 minutes including the results debrief. The Athletic Performance Blueprint and Vitality Blueprint run closer to 2 hours. All results are reviewed on the same day.
What does the biosignature assessment measure?
Biosignature maps fat storage across 14 skinfold sites and correlates each site to a hormonal indicator: cortisol, insulin, testosterone, estrogen, and growth hormone. The result is a hormonal fat storage profile, not just a body fat percentage.
What is a VO2 max test and is it appropriate for me?
The VO2 Max Diagnostic measures your cardiorespiratory ceiling, ventilatory thresholds, fat oxidation curve, and heart rate recovery using the VO2 Master Analyzer during a structured air bike ramp protocol. It is appropriate for adults at any fitness level. The test is effort-dependent but not maximal-effort by default.
How much does a fitness assessment cost at Arzadon?
Assessments start at $167 for the Transformation Blueprint (InBody 770 + biosignature + metabolic baseline + written program blueprint). The VO2 Max Diagnostic is $177. The Athletic Performance Blueprint is $197 and the Vitality Blueprint is $257. Free consultation available before booking any assessment.
